With over 63 hours drawing time, over a 2 month period, Coach Tomlin was created to be entered into the 2010 Penn Arts Spring Show. It had been over 15 years since I entered an art show, but I am pleased to say that I was awarded the “2010 Terry Fero Creative Expression Award\". Winning this award was so overwhelming and appreciated that it brought tears of joy to my eyes as suddenly I knew “Christopher’s Collages” was very much a reality.  When I drew this tribute, I never imagined he would ever see it, but thanks to a friend, of a friend, of a friend, who knows Coach Tomlin–HE SAW IT! She gave it to him and I was told, “he loved it” and spent a lot of time going through all the personal images while laughing, pointing, and smiling.  He was also gracious enough to sign one for me, my father, and my father-in-law.
